Feedback from clients I’ve worked with, both as part of the School for Heroines 1, and on a 1:1 basis.

Victoria Waters

‘Having spent just 4 months in Karen’s School for Heroines I have become more focused about appreciating and expressing my gifts and talents and have given myself permission to use them proactively. Before, I didn’t feel as confident to put myself forward proactively as I do now. I have “stepped up” my game and personal power. I have become more content and appreciative of myself. I have achieved a wider positive impact with others in my workplace that I did previously and have improved my leadership style holding my team accountable for their actions. I have had better personal relationships with my partner, family and friends as I speak my truth with love, clarity and conviction.’

Marie Catch

Marie Catch‘Since I’ve joined the School for Heroines, I have gained an introduction to my energy and spiritual development which is the bit I think was missing. I am trusting in myself more.  I love having the opportunity to learn from the other heroines and feeding from the positive energy that is created.

I have become more confident and I believe in my own intuition more every day. I feel I am able to be both vulnerable and brave at the same time which has enabled me to step out more.

This shows up clearly in how I feel each day and how I handle situations.

Others who choose to invest in themselves in a similar way could expect confidence and spark to go after those things they have put off for whatever reason so far. You can trust you’ll be supported to believe in your own ability and to take the steps you need to take.’

Anita Brock

Anita BrockSince becoming a Heroine, I’ve gained so much: guaranteed, carved out time to focus on me – which I am not entirely sure I would have found otherwise. The support and love of intelligent, funny, inspiring and awesome women all of whom I admire tremendously – all different and unique but invisibly connected by strong bonds. I’ve experienced so much learning on so many aspects – and a much deeper self-awareness.

I have addressed and moved on through aspects and issues in my life which were a real blockage. I am able to remain calm and even send loving thoughts out in areas where there was previously so much bitterness and hatred. I am thinking and planning more clearly, but also remaining open to opportunities. I am saying yes instead of no’.

I am measuring the impact of this by how I feel.  Normally, when things are not right for me I feel it in my stomach and so I use that to test whether my response is being forced or real.  I am increasingly comfortable (i.e. no adverse reaction) with letting go of the past and sending out loving thoughts – this is a major breakthrough for me.

I think that, provided you are willing and ready to take a good hard look at yourself and that you are open to new ways of thinking and being, this is a fantastic way to prepare for and make radical life changes.  You will be held accountable in a loving and nurturing way – and the unparalleled ongoing support – over a whole year gives a realistic timeframe to achieve enormous shifts and changes.

Thank you from my heart  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Louise Roberts

Louise Roberts‘Just a few months in to The School for Heroines and I am experiencing an amazing sense of support and guidance that has enabled me to start walking down a path that I’d often dreamed of taking but never before dared to hope could actually be mine to travel.

This is enabling me to change my life, I am currently, albeit slowly, creating the life of my dreams rather than continuing to play out the life that everybody else has been telling me is the one that somebody like me should choose to live.

I’ve stepped off the ‘gravy-train’ and am reconnecting to my own self-expression to create my own dream life, a life that contains my perfect career, family, friends and above all, my very best self. I know how well I’m doing from tuning in to how I’m feeling with greater clarity and insight every day and then noticing how others are responding to me, the reactions I get these days blow me away, and all because I’m showing up as me.

Since becoming a Heroine just four months ago, I’ve gained a feeling of being supported and understood. At the same time I’ve experienced a ‘mirror being held up’ for me so I am aware of the moments I am trying to kid myself! The group is not letting me off the hook! There has been loads of ideas and practical advice to help me be more authentic and true to me.

I am listening to myself more and paying attention to those little feelings of discomfort that in the past I would have ignored. For instance in the past I tended to say ‘yes’ to every piece of work that came my way – ‘just in case’. Now I am tuning in more to whether the work or client is a ‘wow yes’ if they aren’t – then I am not saying yes!

Karen is a great role model who is on her own journey and is not afraid to share her wobbly moments. She is a great story teller which makes ideas and concepts very accessible. She has a great insight of what is really going on for me and can therefore ask the questions which create a shift in my thinking.

I think the act of investing in yourself is the first step in respecting and reconnecting with yourself … from there on in the Heroines group is very much about exploring and defining the areas that really matter to you. The current group has members who are all on different journeys, seeking different outcomes and they are all having their needs met and more. So I think others can expect to gain exactly what they want and more!

Heather Phillips

‘Working with Karen has been “magic” – magic because the strategies that I have been introduced to have had a huge effect on my whole life. I am able to use them “in the moment” and I have found a new richness to my life; for the first time I really believe that I can have good things happen for me and that I can make good things happen around me. I have learnt the power of reflection and then change how I view the world so that it is good for me. Karen’s manner is professional and so friendly, her genuine interest in me and wanting me to be the best I can be is what has made this work – managing work, family and home has been made easy – it’s magic!!’

Heather Phillips‘What I know, without a shadow of a doubt that how I am feeling “today” and the way I am operating “these days” is completely because of the mentoring I have received.

I feel inspired and know I am inspiring others, I feel empowered because all the strategies and tools I have been given really, really work (I just have to remember that I have them at my disposal when things don’t look quite so good) and most importantly my vision is clear and I know I am communicating it without compromise.

…What I realise is that I spent far too much time trying placate everyone and persuading/cajoling people to come along with me – in the process I forgot what I was really about and who I was.
I’ve learned how I can make things easier for myself and have put this into action with mad, stunning results! I feel powerful and am looking forward to seeing how much better it can get.’

‘At a time when my career was in turmoil, which was impacting every aspect of my life, including my physical wellbeing, I didn’t know what to do, or even if I had the strength to do it, the future me was released by Karen Footman. This lady is nothing short of a coaching ‘Goddess’. Having someone who can combine, warmth, wisdom and guide you through some of the toughest challenges, whilst allowing you to realise your own true potential is a rare and valuable gift, and she has it in abundance.

Karen has helped me succeed in my career strategy, reaching Senior Management level in a top FTSE 100 company. Also to deal with my emotional baggage and understand what makes me who I am and why I react in the way I do, and how to change my responses. If you are sceptical about seeking guidance or advice, I would urge you to speak with this wonderful lady, what do you have to lose?

I am not prone to outbursts of sentiment, but I have to say that I would not be fulfilling my true potential today, without her.’
